Pothole Skinny began as a solo guitar project, later expanding into a band featuring Frank Murphy, Scott Freyer, and Mark Dagley. This line-up dispersed in the late 2000s. While exploring synthesis and field recordings, Connolly returned to PS in 2023 with a solo approach, incorporating meditative guitar, tape loops, and minimal electronic elements.
